AdCare Rhode Island is a 59-bed inpatient alcohol and drug treatment center with a mission of providing transformational recovery experiences to individuals struggling with substance dependence.

The state-of-the-art facility is nestled on 22 acres of peaceful New England woodland in historic North Kingstown. The campus is conveniently located just minutes away from both the airport and downtown Providence. AdCare RI is also located close to pristine beaches and recreational areas.  The newly renovated facility is outfitted with semi-private rooms with baths, fitness center, basketball court, and many other amenities.

Responsibilities

All shifts including Overnights & Weekends Per Diem

The Treatment Advocate will assist with patient admissions, room transfers and discharges. The role will also support patients’ daily activities/needs, provide 1:1 patient observation, comfort and transfers within the facility and encourage patient recovery. The TA shall be a dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individual who will serve a significant role of identifying and communicating patient needs and addressing them directly or in conjunction with nursing and other facility clinical staff.

Qualifications

  • Current Home Health Aide Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Substance Abuse experience/knowledge preferred.

All positions require a TST, MMR Titer, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, and satisfactory criminal background records check.
