Job Summary
The Regional Quality Assurance (QA) Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and improving patient care and services within the assigned region.
This position is responsible for leading multiple large-scale, Quality Assurance (QA) and Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives. The Regional QA Director works closely with the Corporate Director of Quality, the Regional QA Coordinator and other facility leadership to improve patient safety, documented quality of care, operational systems and processes, risk management, and treatment outcomes.
This position will monitor and provide guidance regarding opportunities for organization-wide improvements based on evidence-based practices, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, and data analysis of high-risk, high-volume, and/or problem-prone processes.
The Regional QA Director is responsible for negotiating timelines and priorities for QA/PI projects, corrective action plans, monitoring, analyzing, tracking, and trending data or results of improvement initiatives that are consistent with the organization's quality and strategic goals.
