    Job Summary:


    Laboratory Assistant Aging Manager


    The Assistant Aging Manager will help the Aging Manager oversee and supervise the Aging Department for laboratory services at Clinical Revenue Management Services.  The Assistant Aging Manager will report to the Aging Manager.  In addition, he/she must follow all policies and procedures as outlined by the company and/or governmental regulations and according to HIPPA regulations.  The Assistant Aging Manager will work full-time, Monday through Friday. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit for long periods of time.

    Job Duties:

    • Assist with supervising day to day functions of aging teams.
    • Back up Aging manager to coordinate time off between team members and monitor time sheets.
    • Assist with setting team goals.
    • Provide input with organizing A/R and strategically place team members by their abilities.
    • Be involved in daily productivity of calls and goals.
    • Assist with monitoring queues, including number of accounts that are worked.
    • Communicate billing and/or posting issues that need to be address for process improvement.
    • Communicate with Aging Manager any insurance issues immediately that may affect cash flow.


    Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma required, 4-year degree preferred.
    • 3 years’ experience in billing and aging working with a laboratory (preferably toxicology) or 5 years’ outside experience with billing and aging in a supervisory role. 
    • Uses effective communication skills.  Uses communication technologies efficiently.
    • Performs accurate data entry.  Consistently works to improve error rate.
    • Employs general math skills and statistical analysis when appropriate. Able to analyze information and problem solve.
    • Acts responsibly and follows professional code of conduct as set forth by senior personnel. 
    • Utilizes excellent computer skills and other technology and software as assigned.
    • Multitasks while maintaining attention to detail.  Works in a highly organized and efficient manner.
    • Maintains a high level of reliability, dedication and initiative.
