    Job Summary:

    American Addiction Centers is looking for an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator in the Healthcare field to lead the operation of our enterprise-wide LMS. The LMS Administrator will have very strong customer support skills along with problem solving required for responding to LMS user issues. Monitor the LMS Support inbox, answer questions, and troubleshoot problems for users by phone and via email. Strong attention to detail is also required for crosschecking reports, performing quality checks/verification on LMS data. Occasional support for other department activities will be required.

    Job Duties:

    • Manage the daily utilization and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) including;
    • Creating new training / conference events
    • Uploading new courses
    • Uploading event attachment
    • Automating new hire on-boarding and annual regulatory curriculum
    • Updating and printing training rosters and email to Training Specialists
    • Creating course enrollment and participation instructions
    • Partnering with Human Resources and IT to ensure system accuracy
    • Troubleshooting LMS issues with the users
    • Proactively provide guidance on upgrade needs/future functionality
    • Instruct employees and local administrators on use of system (teach best practices)
    • Establish and maintain training curriculums in the Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Work with subject matter experts to review and update training content
    • Create standard and recurring LMS reporting requests, as well as builds ad hoc reports as needed
    • Create course curriculum auto assignments and auto alerts
    • Maintain learning records and historical training data
    • Report course completion and compliance issues to the appropriate governance
    • Identify methods to improve productivity and growth via use of the system
    • Exercise quality control for all content to ensure adherence to brand and other standards
    • Build advocacy for the continued adoption of the Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Manage the interface of the LMS with other internal systems
    • Submit in classroom IT Ticket Requests
    • Create content policies and standards for course and configuration management; drive continuous process improvement


    Job Requirements:

    • BS/BA in HR, IT or a related field of study or relevant professional experience
    • Minimum of 2 years experience administering a Healthcare Learning Management System
    • HealthStream Learning Management System support is a plus
    • Knowledge of State, CARF, and Joint Commission Compliance Requirements
    • Experience using a SCORM compatible LMS to host content
    • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Power Point, and Excel)
    • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies
    • Understanding of Taxonomy
    • Capability of working independently
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Outstanding organizational skills
    • Expectation for continued professional development and openness to coaching
    • Candidates in recovery must have 2+ years of sobriety
