    Job Summary:

    The Client Care Coordinator provides administrative support for staff and routes all incoming calls and contacts in an appropriate manner.  This position does not have a direct case load or provide therapeutic services to clients.

     

    Reports To: Clinic Manager

    Responsibilities

    Job Duties:

    • Answers all incoming calls and routes appropriately.
    • Greets all incoming visitors and provides appropriate information and answers.
    • Facilitates release of information process for medical records.
    • Assists clients with court or work letters.
    • Communicates admit and discharge dates with referral companies.
    • When requested, sends medical records to billing service and/or insurance companies.
    • Documents and maintains audit records and logs.
    • Follow-up with discharged clients according to schedule to maintain outcome data for benchmark studies.
    • Ensure that site has all supplies, equipment, etc. required to provide effective client support.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Two years of experience in a health care field.
    • Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • If in personal recovery, a minimum of 2 years clean and sober.
