    We are looking for someone to be a thought leader, to understand our business from the nuts and bolts to the big picture, and who can enable others to grow while still being willing to get their hands dirty when required. Keys to success will include flexibility, challenging assumptions, mentoring others, being data disciplined as well as understanding the flow of internal and external politics and market needs.


    Reports to: SVP, Growth and Operations         


    • Lead and manage the product designers, provide direction, and set best practices
    • Design and build highly polished, end-to-end experiences of the products
    • Create elegant, innovative, and emotionally satisfying product experiences
    • Partners with optimization to challenge assumptions and to consistently improve experiences
    • Design, refine, and expand the product design, design systems, and architecture for the products
    • Create expressive visualizations designed for communicating abstract concepts
    • Create a wide scope in conception, rapidly translate and test concepts with interactive prototypes, and synthesize findings into actionable next steps
    • Gather and synthesize user research to share with the team
    • Lead through mentorship, career development, and recruitment to build a world-class design studio
    • Coach and mentor team members, as well as individuals from other disciplines as the need arises, building strong relationships across the company over time
    • Collaborate with design, product, engineering, experts to build a robust library of engaging content
    • Collaborate with Head of Product on vision, and partner with the teams to make it reality
    • Work in an agile environment using data and analytics to inform user-centered design decisions and rapid iterative improvement
    • Collaborate closely with business, engineering, and QA leadership to define and communicate a strategic vision and high-level objectives


    • An inspired portfolio of work that demonstrates a deep understanding of the problem, paired with elegant, innovative, and thoughtful solutions
    • An equally strong UX and visual design foundation with an understanding of how to apply it into satisfying interactive experiences
    • Strong user research skills, including the experience to know which methods are most appropriate for answering the questions at hand
    • The ability to identify user problems and articulate how your solutions are addressing those core problems
    • A working understanding of how to apply movement, timing, and sound to create emotional resonance
    • Strong collaborative and communication skills to work with a close-knit team
    • An understanding of designing to achieve business objectives
    • Experience interacting with a collaborative team and working directly with developers to implement designs
