  • Overview

    The Business Development Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for generating and nurturing leads through the sales funnel via a variety of digital and traditional marketing channels. This role requires high level strategic thinking, organization, and internal and external communication. The ideal candidate is a “people person” with experience in B2B marketing, is comfortable working closely with remote teams, and is simultaneously detail oriented and big picture focused.

     

    This position involves cross-departmental collaboration with Business Development, Local Marketing, Content Marketing, Reputation Management, and Design to facilitate the execution of B2B marketing campaign initiatives. This individual is a team player with a data-driven and business-minded approach to his or her work.

     

    Reports to: Business Development Marketing Specialist

    Responsibilities

    • B2B Local Marketing:
      • Strategize campaigns for 14+ Business Development team regions;
      • Collaborate with various marketing team members to develop marketing materials;
      • Coordinate with facility CEOs and regional managers to execute lead generation and nurturing campaigns.
    • National and Regional Event Coordination:
      • Oversee creation of promotional/event materials;
      • Prepare and provide oversight of day-of details;
      • Negotiate vendor contracts;
      • Lead nurturing initiatives pre- and post-industry events.
    • Tracking and Database Management:
      • Assist with campaign tracking of all B2B marketing initiatives;
      • Prepare Salesforce and MailChimp lists for B2B campaigns;
      • Pull reports, cross-reference lists, and derive data to support informed strategy.
    • Support Business Development Marketing and Local Marketing managers in executing on-the-ground strategies with a mixed or broad audience


    Position Objectives:

    • Generate and nurture B2B referral leads, primarily through on-the-ground efforts, with the support of digital and traditional marketing assets;
    • Develop brand recognition and credibility via industry and organization events.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or other related field
    • 2+ years’ experience in digital and traditional marketing, event planning, paid media, and/or business development
    • Experience with Salesforce and MailChimp
    • Excellent communication skills across all mediums
    • High attention to detail and organization are a must
