    Please Note that this is a Full Time Position


    Based on the Oxford Resolutions campus, the Community Resource Representative builds Oxford Treatment Center’s relationships with local recovery communities and provides practical support to sober living patients and alumni in early recovery. The Community Resource Representative reports to the Outpatient Services Director and works closely with the Clinical Outpatient Therapists.


    • Provide community education and workshops.
    • Develop Oxford Treatment Center’s relationship with local Universities
    • Provide resources for groups on campus including fraternities, sororities and university departments
    • Identify needs in the community to inform the continued growth of services at the Oxford Outpatient Office
    • Conduct in-service presentations with community stakeholders to raise public awareness of Oxford Treatment Center and its services
    • Attend community networking functions
    • Represent Oxford Treatment Center on local boards and nonprofits
    • Work with Business Development team to assist them with events in Tupelo and Olive Branch/Memphis
    • Build relationships with the local recovery community and seek members’ input and direction on practical resources to offer our alumni in early recovery.
    • Network with mental health providers and community leaders

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Community Relations Marketing Experience
    • Case management experience
    • Experience interacting with state and local services
    • Excellent Personal presentation; warm and engaging manner.
    • Strong public speaking skills.
    • Strong event planning skills.
    • Highly organized, including the ability to manage multiple ongoing events.
    • Two, or more, years of Chemical Dependency and dual diagnosis experience
    • Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
    • If in personal recovery, a minimum of 2 years clean and sober.
