Job Summary

The Corporate Trainer III contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Their work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Your goal as the Corporate Trainer will be to conduct informative training sessions, promote company efficiency, and improve the skills of all assigned personnel. The ideal candidate should be a great communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences. You must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent public speaking, soft, leadership & sales and/or clinical skills. As well as be proactive and assertive when trouble-shooting training needs. The goal is to promote efficiency and competitive advantage by developing the skills of personnel.

 

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for onboarding and ongoing training to multiple roles/departments in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement end-user training strategies for AAC staff. Including the coordination of training spaces to ensure suitable learning environments
  • Support and mentor new employees
  • Keep attendance and other records
  • Collects feedback on sessions from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentation
  • Monitor employee performance and response to training
  • Work with multiple lines of business and develop familiarity with AAC business operations, priorities and initiatives to align training as necessary. This may include: learn and can explain all aspects of AAC’s products and services including: soft skills techniques, best practices, AAC Treatment Facilities, Salesforce, EHR, policies and procedures, insurance, and compliance
  • Proactively trouble-shoot training needs and identify opportunities for improved business processes
  • Conducting Train-the-Trainer sessions to prepare other trainers for delivery, and conducting training pilots to obtain stakeholder/SME approvals
  • Manage training budgets
  • Collaborate with team of Instructional Designers on assigned projects, and entry-level instructional design requests including: the development of training job aids/resources, curriculum, workshops, and computer-based training (from concept through implementation)
  • Work closely with IT team to implement software/training resources and the ability to train & communicate technical information to non-technical audiences (entry-level up to executive-level employees)
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position, including following all HIPAA guidelines when training
  • Perform other duties as required by Training & Development leadership
  • Work with leaders to improve individual (and/or) group skills and performance
  • Facilitate organizational changes, which can involve working with recently promoted executives or managers to help adapt to their roles effectively
  • Meet with leaders, clarify specific objectives, and develop strategies that will help leaders achieve developmental goals
  • Coach leaders to alter their thinking so they can facilitate improvements in their performance; Includes providing prompts to leaders to get them thinking about situations differently in order to change their strategies in dealing with specific issues
  • Conduct ongoing assessments with assigned leaders
  • Support the creation, monitoring and evaluation of a Leadership Development Program

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 4-7 years+ experience facilitating/training adult learners
  • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies
  • Knowledge of basic instructional design methodology
  • Ability to prioritize and manage change during accelerated Company growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Expectation for continued professional development and openness to coaching
  • Business background (and/or) MBA
  • Psychology background a plus
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong coaching skills

Physical Requirements

  • Moderate noise levels as found in a business office with computer printers, households with TVs and dishwashers, and driving light traffic.

  • Coaching/Facilitation Certifications
  • Executive Coaching Certification a plus

Supervisory Responsibility

  • May be requested to supervise/mentor staff within the department

Other Work Requirements:

  • Travel Percentage: As Requested (up to 75% travel, if assigned to Clinical or Leadership)
  • Expected Hours of work (Full-Time, Mon-Fri 8a-5p)
