Job Summary

This is not your typical desk job. This is a hands-on facilities management role with oversight in Dietary, Transportation, and Maintenance, as well as respective employees. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of all facilities and program needs including housekeeping, laundry, food services, transportation, maintenance and grounds keeping departments.


Duties and Responsibilities: to include but not limited to the following

  • Responsible for developing and implementing policy and procedures in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and codes.
  • Ensuring the safety, upkeep, maintenance and aesthetic quality of all physical assets.
  • Responsible for hiring, training and terminating operations staff.
  • Ensure all annual and regular permitting and regulatory compliance parameters are met as required.
  • Responsible for contracting outside professional service contractors as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all state licensure and credentialing standards and regulations for physical plant and operations of a substance abuse treatment facility.



  • Healthcare background is required, preferably with hospital experience.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission compliance is required.
  • Hospital Regulations Knowledge is required.
  • 3+ years of People Management experience is required.
  • 5+ years of Facilities Management experience is required.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Certifications for HVAC, Electrician, and Plumbing, preferred.
  • Contractor’s License, preferred.
