AdCare Rhode Island is a 59-bed inpatient alcohol and drug treatment center with a mission of providing transformational recovery experiences to individuals struggling with substance dependence.

 

The state-of-the-art facility is nestled on 22 acres of peaceful New England woodland in historic North Kingstown. The campus is conveniently located just minutes away from both the airport and downtown Providence. AdCare RI is also located close to pristine beaches and recreational areas.  The newly renovated facility is outfitted with semi-private rooms with baths, fitness center, basketball court, and many other amenities.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the full time Clinical Supervisor is to manage counselors and inpatient care. To be accessible to other clinicians to offer support and guidance under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services. This position will be part of the team that interviews, hires, onboards, and coaches the counseling team. The role is required to maintain an individual caseload, providing one-on-one to counseling and case management. In addition, responsible for completing assessment paperwork, the biopsychosocial treatment plan, case management and discharge planning. The role also maintains a strong focus on patient retention.

Qualifications

  • Independent License LMHC/LICSW with LCDP required.
  • Master's Degree required in social work or addiction field of study.
  • A minimum of three years experience working in addiction or mental health field.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to gather information from individuals, build relationships, intervene in difficult situations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Computer literate. Must be able to work independently, but also on a team.
  • Organization, creativity and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through public speaking.
  • Knowledge of addiction and chemical dependency.
  • Ability to display leadership and be a team leader.
