$5,000.00 Sign on Bonus

 

Job Summary

Full Time Admissions RN or LPN; 4- 10 hour shifts or 5- 8 hour shifts both include every other weekend.

 

The Admissions RN/LPN is responsible for admitting all incoming patients from greeting them in the admissions department to admitting them to the unit. This position assesses patients,conducts precertification evaluations, and implements specific detoxification protocols, as designated by the Medical Director. The RN is also responsible for recording and administering all medications prescribed to clients. Must follow all policies and procedures for clinical documentation.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Ability to read, write, communicate and understand directions in English.
  • Demonstrates accuracy in taking manual vital signs. Strong interpersonal skills are required to gather information from individuals, build relationships, intervene in difficult situations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of addiction and chemical dependency.
  • Ability to use defibrillation equipment.
  • Must have excellent nursing skills.
  • Experience working in detox, addiction, and mental health environments is preferred.
  • RN or LPN license and CPR certification required.
