Per Diem Position. One day a week (6:30a-12:30p) and every other weekend. Medical Technologist to perform biomedical analysis and blood draws when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities: to include but not limited to the following:
MLT or MT certification preferred or ASCP Eligible
Ability to operate diagnostic testing equipment such as, a centrifuge, blood analyzers, microscope and/or specialized laboratory equipment specific to the assigned laboratory area.
Works with considerable independence to perform and interpret various tests.
Ability to handle potentially infectious materials, such as blood and body fluid specimens while observing proper safety regulations.
Ability to collect blood specimens by venipuncture from patients.
