Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Executive Team to ensure projects are prioritized and aligned with business objectives
  • Oversee project planning, including working with team leads, contractors, and vendors, to define project scope and goals, identify resources, and create and manage project schedules
  • Maintain day-to-day tasks and project status within the project management tools for team-wide use
  • Constantly monitor progress and communicate project status to all stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements to ensure the efficient achievement of project goals
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, including cross-team projects
  • Proactively manage schedule and scope changes, identify potential risks, and create contingency plans
  • Serve as escalation point for internal and external issues
  • Collaborate with Brand & Design team to understand and inform strategy in support of the project objectives
  • Support our engineers, designers, business analysts, and QA analysts by streamlining our workflows and reducing friction so that we can efficiently create and release new marketing campaigns and products
  • Lead team planning sessions and scrum meetings
  • Proven ability to translate goals into actionable items

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in a marketing, public relations, or graphic design discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience launching, maintaining, and supporting successful marketing initiatives and products
  • Experience with various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, etc.) and Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence)
  • Experience with mid to large scale enterprise solutions, with proven success implementing a multi-million dollar project strongly desired
  • Able to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements and deadlines, while operating at a strategic level with all members of the project teams
  • Natural, clear communicator with a humble and direct approach to project management
  • Meticulous attention to detail, including maintaining accurate records and diligently tracking key project metrics
  • Ideal candidate has experience working with sprints and scrum methodology
