Job Summary

The SEO Specialist will work with content team to publish high quality, thoroughly researched, factually accurate, and informative content that will encourage visitors to seek addiction treatment for themselves or their loved ones. The position helps to improve brand expertise, authority, and trust by publishing expert-level content that continuously raises the bar for addiction research and information.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • On-site content installation and optimization, including formatting, adding meta descriptions, and internal linking 
  • On-site SEO projects and tasks, including fixing broken links, crawl errors, 301 redirects, and other on-site optimization efforts 
  • Creation of detailed seo briefs to inform content that delivers rankings
    • Competitive analysis
  • Strong understanding of site structure, as to inform and identify content opportunities
  • Strong understanding of topic clusters and how they strengthen topical relevancy
  • Ability to use SEO crawlers to indentify opportunities, errors, and problems as it relates to
    • Renderings, pagespeed, meta data, redirects, canonicals, and internal linking
  • Ability to derive insights from backlink monitering tools
  • Keyword research and analysis of content performance across multiple websites 
  • Management of local listings and profiles of multiple businesses and locations 
  • Work well with all stakeholders, developer team, content team, product owners, design, and management
  • Regular and consistent attendance is expected
  • Other Duties as assigned


Education/ Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field 
  • 1+ year experience blogging, website admin, or HTML 
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently (self-starter, so to speak) 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a number of digital assets 
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress and HTML
