Responsibilities

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Staff Accountant will work with the Accounting Manager to work on month end close, fixed assets, leases and payroll. You of course will be detail oriented and know accounting principles inside and out. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist with month-end close, including preparing, entering, and reviewing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts
  • Analyze and prepare variance analysis for internal monthly financial statements
  • Protect organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality
  • Update professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, New grads welcome to apply!
    • 1-2 years of accounting experience or intern accounting experience
    • Healthcare experience preferred.
    • Successfully performs skills to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.
    • Super user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Performer of multi-functional tasks and of attention to details.
    • Analytical, communicator, time manager and skilled inter-personally
    • Self-motivation, energy and a positive attitude.
    • Commitment to high standards in work, integrity and ethics.
